Write to Object to Tax Funded
Abuse
How To
Write and Object – to those in authority and
responsible for this outrageous abuse of position and funding. Write to those listed below and please remember
to...
-
MAKE IT YOUR OWN.
Don't simply copy any of our examples (if available) - it will be a waste of your time and
effort.
-
Keep
it short. These people are very busy and don't have time to respond to long
discourses and highlight three points at the MOST in each
correspondence.
-
Make sure it is relevant to the person you are writing to. Don’t ask your MP for example to make changes
to Council policies they have no control over!
-
Stay gracious. Never threatening or abusive. You can
be forthright
of course and remind them of their responsibilities
before the electorate as well as before God.
-
Don't stop after one response if it is unsatisfactory. Insist on answers to your specific requests and
don't accept 'form' responses sent to
everyone.
Points to consider when
writing.
-
The offence caused to Christ and Glasgow’s largest single group of
people – Christians (65%)
-
The specific targetting of Christians substantiated by the
fact no other religion, religious leader or founder or Holy book receives the same tax funded insult
and abuse.
-
Supporting and funding St Mungo Religious Museum is no
defence (as often claimed) for CSG against these accusations of victimisation or CSG's failure
to fulfill it's own policies and aims.
-
The intransigent attitude towards the controversy despite
widespread condemnation.
-
The waste of public money during economically trying times.
-
The unnecessary controversy detracting CSG from the work at hand
(Mrs McConnell has acknowledged that CSG were unable to
respond to every complaint as there were so many - surely as a public servant with a budget of £100
million - she has better things to do than insult Christ, the
Bible and Christians?)
-
Has brought international shame on Glasgow
-
Has shown Bridget McConnell's and CSG's inability to even
fulfil their own mandates and policies with regard to equality, diversity and fair treatment for
all whilst providing a 'world class' and ‘enriching’ service to ALL its users (that is -
the paying public).
